Rooted Reset™ Retreats

Don’t Come Here To Escape Your Life. Come Remember How You Want To Live It.

Rooted Reset™ Retreats are for women who want more than another beautiful trip — and definitely don’t need another week of being told how to optimize themselves.

We travel to places worth experiencing and borrow from something the world’s longest-living cultures have understood for generations: health isn’t supposed to take over your life. It can look like food around a table, walking somewhere beautiful, laughing until your face hurts, trying something you’ve never done, spending time outside, having people to belong to, and waking up excited about what the day holds.

So we don’t spend the retreat sitting in a conference room talking about how to live better. We go live some of it. And somewhere between the meals, adventures, conversations, rest, and ridiculous amounts of laughing, you may notice what you want more of when you get home.

The Rooted Reset™ Way

You Don’t Need A Retreat That Gives You More To Work On.

Some of the world’s longest-living communities have been practicing something we tend to overcomplicate: the things that support a long, healthy life are often woven into the way people live — shared meals, natural movement, time outside, strong relationships, purpose, rest, laughter, and reasons to look forward to tomorrow.

Rooted Reset™ lets you step inside that kind of rhythm long enough to feel the difference for yourself.

01 · Live It

Stop Studying A Better Life. Go Live Some Of It.

Eat meals worth lingering over. Walk somewhere beautiful. Try something you’ve never done. Laugh with women you actually like. Rest when you’re tired. Let the days feel full without feeling packed.

02 · Notice It

Pay Attention To What Makes You Feel More Like Yourself.

Maybe it’s eating differently. Maybe it’s moving more without calling it exercise. Maybe it’s conversation, adventure, sunlight, laughter, or simply not rushing. You don’t have to force a breakthrough. Just notice what feels good.

03 · Bring It Home

Take Home What Deserves A Place In Your Real Life.

Not a 27-step morning routine. Maybe a recipe. A friendship. A slower dinner. A new way to move. A trip you finally decide to take. A reminder that your health is supposed to help you live more — not give you more homework.

The destination gets you out of your normal rhythm.

The real reset is noticing what you want to bring back into it.

And Then There’s 2028...

Sardinia, Italy + Ikaria, Greece Are Already On The Rooted Reset™ Map.

We’re exploring future Rooted Reset™ experiences in two more places known for extraordinary longevity: the mountain communities of Sardinia, Italy and the Greek island of Ikaria.

But we’re not flying across the world to sit in a conference room and talk about Blue Zones. We want to eat there. Walk there. Swim there. Gather there. Meet the people. Explore the traditions. Spend time by the sea. And experience what everyday life actually feels like in the places we’ve spent so much time reading about.

The details are still taking shape, but if Sardinia, Ikaria, or both already have you wondering when you need to block your calendar, this is where you raise your hand.

The Part You Can’t Put On An Itinerary

It Gets Harder To Make Real Friends As An Adult. So We Make Room For It To Actually Happen.

You might book the retreat because Costa Rica sounds incredible, Arizona finally feels doable, or Okinawa has been sitting on your someday list forever. But some of the best parts of the trip will have nothing to do with what was written on the itinerary.

Small On Purpose

Not Networking. Not Forced Bonding. Just Enough Time To Actually Know Each Other.

Adult friendship rarely happens because somebody scheduled “connection time” from 3:00 to 4:00. It happens sitting around the table after dinner. In the van when somebody tells a story that has everyone crying laughing. While cheering another woman on before she tries something she swore she would never do.

That’s why Rooted Reset™ stays intentionally small. I don’t want you spending a week surrounded by women and still feeling anonymous. I want you to know who orders what at breakfast, who makes you laugh, who you want beside you on the next adventure, and who you naturally keep talking to when nobody is trying to make you “connect.”

You don’t have to become best friends with everyone. That isn’t the point. The point is having enough time and enough shared life together for something real to have the chance to happen.

And yes — you can absolutely come by yourself. You do not need a built-in travel buddy, a best friend to sign up with you, or someone to hide behind when you walk in. Plenty of women come solo. The retreat is designed so you can arrive on your own without spending the week feeling like everyone else already belongs to someone.

The destination may get you on the plane. The women may be the reason the next trip becomes an easy yes.

The Trip Starts Long Before Check-In

You Won’t Meet Everyone For The First Time With A Suitcase In Your Hand.

Every Rooted Reset™ retreat includes time inside The Rooted Community before we ever meet in person. Because if you’re traveling somewhere incredible with a small group of women, I don’t want the first five minutes spent wondering where to sit, who everyone is, or whether you’re the only one who came alone.

We use the months before the retreat to start the fun early — learning names, having conversations, cooking together, getting curious about where we’re going, and giving you something to look forward to long before anyone starts packing.

01 · Know The Women

Walk In Recognizing People, Not Scanning A Room Of Strangers.

You’ll have months to hear stories, join conversations, recognize names and faces, and start finding your people before we ever share our first meal in person.

02 · Start Living It

Don’t Wait For The Retreat To Start Living Differently.

Cook with us, try Rooted Reset™ experiments, join real conversations, and play with simple ways to eat, move, gather, rest, and make life feel better without turning wellness into another job.

03 · Know The Place

Arrive Knowing More Than The Name Of The Hotel.

Learn the food, traditions, people, language, stories, and little cultural details that make a place feel more interesting once you’re actually standing in it.

And Yes — The Rooted Community Is Included.

Depending on your retreat, you’ll have months inside The Rooted Community with Passport to Seasonal Cooking with Haruka Kato, conversations with me and guest experts, Rooted Reset™ experiments, recipes, Q&A, resources, replays, and a dedicated space for your retreat group.

We Don’t Prepare For Every Destination The Same Way.

Part of the fun is beginning to understand where we’re going before we ever get there.

Arizona

Meet The Women Before Saturday.

Cook with us, join the conversations, and get to know some of the women you’ll be spending the day with so January 30 feels less like arriving at an event and more like joining people you’ve already started to know.

Costa Rica

Pura Vida Starts Before The Plane Takes Off.

Through Pura Vida Spanish Club, we’ll play with conversational Spanish and explore Costa Rican culture, customs, history, and everyday life so the country already feels a little more familiar when we land.

Okinawa

Don’t Just Learn About Ikigai. Start Asking What Yours Looks Like.

Before we experience Okinawa’s food, traditions, community, purpose, and longevity rhythms firsthand, we’ll start exploring what meaning, belonging, and having reasons to get up in the morning look like in our own lives too.

By the time your suitcase is packed, you’re not waiting for the retreat to begin. You’re already part of it.

Angie Almost Let Fear Keep Her Home. She’s Now Coming On Retreat Number Four.

Before her first retreat, Angie had people telling her she was too out of shape, it cost too much, and maybe this just wasn’t something she should do. For a while, those voices almost became louder than her own.

But she came anyway.

What she found wasn’t a week where she had to prove anything. She laughed, tried things she wasn’t sure she could do, connected with women she hadn’t known before, and came home realizing just how often fear had been getting a vote in the life she wanted to live.

Her first yes didn’t just give her a trip to remember. It reminded her that she was still allowed to want new experiences, new people, and more life for herself.

Sometimes the biggest thing waiting on the other side of “Should I really do this?” is being really glad you did.

Maybe One Of These Has Already Gotten Your Attention

You Don’t Need To Know Exactly What Comes Next. Just Notice Which One You Don’t Want To Miss.

Maybe Arizona feels like the easiest yes. Maybe Costa Rica is the trip you keep picturing yourself on. Maybe Okinawa has been sitting in the back of your mind for years. Or maybe the thought of Sardinia or Ikaria in 2028 just made you sit up a little straighter.

That’s enough. You don’t need a dramatic reason to go somewhere beautiful, meet good women, try something new, laugh a lot, and give yourself something to look forward to.

You don’t need more years just to have more time. Build a life you want more years of.
